In 2023 the company Mirai Investments acquired IDK and it became part of the electronic division named Ohmnia, a partner specialising in establishing relationships of strategic collaboration and technological support with all companies and industries that require industrial electronics to carry out their activities.

2018 was marked by a significant and ambitious challenge as we moved to new installations within the same industrial complex where we built our current factory, where we still remain today. Within these facilities we already had five robotised warehouses, four SMD assembly lines, two selective soldering lines, three automatic tropicalised lines and other production resources necessary to carry out our activity. This installation was designed with future expansion in mind, enabling us to double our current activity.

Our growth continued and it was decided to reduce the engineering section to focus on the world of sub-contracting as a result of the growth of our main customers. Therefore we moved to new facilities in the municipality, this time in the Egiburuberri industrial complex, where we invested in two automatic lines, the first selective soldering line, two tropicalised lines, and the first encapsulation cell were incorporated.

IDK began to be known in the electronics world, and coinciding with the first industrial promotion in the town of Errenteria, we moved to the Txirrita Maleo industrial complex. At these facilities we continued to provide engineering, as well as offering electronics manufacturing services. There an automatic SMD line was installed, in addition to traditional wave soldering, the first warehouse vertical robotised and a tropicalised line.

In 1992 two partners, Juanjo Sobrido and Andoni Zapirain, began activity designing a proprietary product for the taxi industry (multiple tariff display), which enabled them to begin to provide services for other industrial projects. To do this, they acquired their first production resources using the innovative SMD technology to manufacture the proprietary product and they began to make initial contact in the field of sub-contracting.
